10 Best EuroParcs Holiday Parks In Netherlands/Holland, Belgium and Austria 2025
EuroParcs is unknown to many UK families planning holidays in Europe. However, the company has about 50 resorts and many of them give Eurocamp and Landal Greenparks a run for their money in terms of reviews and facilities. They aren't quite on the same scale as the best Center Parcs Europe, but EuroParcs still has a lot going for it.
The majority of EuroParcs are in the Netherlands (including Holland) but they've also got a small number of resorts in Belgium, Austria, Luxembourg and Germany. As we shall see, some of the resorts outside of the Netherlands are the best EuroParcs. Some resorts are near Dutch beaches, whilst others are near to the Efteling theme park or in the Alps.
We looked at hundreds of review scores, peak time prices, facilities and travel time from the UK in our main guide to EuroParcs. We then crammed all that into our 10 best EuroParcs in Europe:

1. EuroParcs Schoneveld, Netherlands - great reviews, beachside, close to the UK, good value
EuroParcs Schoneveld is undoubtedly one of the best Euro Parcs in the Netherlands - which is where most of the EuroParcs resorts can be found. It was the highest-rated Dutch EuroParcs resort when we compared ratings across three different review sites and it has other things going for it. Overall, it averages 85% from customers or about 4.25/5. It's a great all rounder on reviews, facilities and location.
You'll find it by the coast, not far from the Belgian border. It's only about two hours in the car from Calais, so you could reach it from London in less than five hours via the Eurotunnel/Le Shuttle. The beach near to EuroParcs Schoneveld is sandy and has a lighthouse, which immediately gives it a bonus point in my eyes.
Activities and facilities onsite are better than average, including an indoor swimming pool, sauna and a couple of restaurants. There are also activities for children, bike hire and a modestly-sized bowling alley.
Price: £1454 for a week's holiday for a family of four in August 2025. That puts EuroParcs Schoneveld as one of the more expensive resorts in the Netherlands. In the previous year, we found it was a cheap option so it's worth checking the dates you want to travel.

2. EuroParcs Hermagor-Nassfeld, Austria - outstanding reviews, stunning location, long journey!
If you don't mind a longer journey then EuroParcs Hermagor-Nassfeld in Austria is a terrific choice. Customers rave about it, with its average score of 89% (or about 4.5/5) making it one of the highest-rated EuroParcs.
The location is in a gorgeous valley beneath the Austrian Alps. You can either stay in an apartment within a big alpine lodge or in one of their 'cottages', which are a bit like Eurocamp's holiday homes.
As well as the great views and reviews, you also get one of the better equipped EuroParcs resorts. Guests can use indoor and outdoor swimming pools, as well as a swimming pond (Ed: I'll stick with the swimming pools thanks). There are saunas, a gym and a steam bath, which are included in the cost of booking, as well as treatments you can pay extra for. You can hire bikes and there's a soft play area for kids (and dads who are 'supervising').
You also get a travel card during the warmer months, which means you get free bus travel and summer access to the cable cars and lifts.
The journey from the UK is a bit far for driving, unless you want to test your sanity. From London you would need to endure about 15 hours of solid driving - plus six toilet breaks, three coffee breaks etc. Personally, I would fly from London to Klagenfurt airport in about two hours. It's then a drive of about an hour.
Price: £1227 for the cheapest accommodation available for a family of four in August 2025. That puts it as a mid-priced EuroParcs holiday resort.

**Club Med Offers: up to 15% off last minute + up to 15% off winter Dream Deals + summer 2025 from £850**
3. EuroParcs Kaatsheuvel, Netherlands - good reviews, great location for visiting Efteling
**Winner: best value EuroParcs holiday park**
EuroParcs Kaatsheuvel is only five minutes from the hugely-popular Efteling theme park, so it is used by most people as a base for days out. You can also stay onsite at Efteling and get tickets included, but you might prefer a holiday park like EuroParcs Kaatsheuvel where you can stay for a week or two (Efteling breaks are only 2-4 nights).
Customer reviews are positive at 81% overall (we added together scores on TripAdvisor, Google Reviews and EuroParcs own site to come up with our average scores). That puts it as a mid-table EuroParcs resort, but we think it's a decent score for a park that offers a lot for a reasonable price. According to EuroParcs it is one of their '5 most popular holiday parks'.
As well as the fairy-tale appeal of Efteling, you also get onsite swimming pools (indoor and outdoor), as well as mini golf, bike hire, kids' activities and restaurants.
Driving is probably your best bet from the UK. The Eurotunnel from Folkestone takes 40 minutes and then it's a 3 1/2 hour drive from Calais.
Price: £853 for a family of four staying for a week in August 2025. If you want to visit Efteling, it will cost you about £30-£40 per person, per day. For comparison, three nights in a holiday cottage at Efteling will cost you from £977. That includes four days in the theme parks. It's a complicated calculation to compare the two, but it means that EuroParcs Kaatsheuvel works out as about £1000 for three nights accommodation and four days at Efteling (i.e. it costs about the same whether you stay onsite at Efteling and get tickets included or stay offsite at EuroParcs Kaatsheuvel and buy tickets separately).

4. EuroParcs Hoge Kempen, Belgium - excellent reviews, leafy setting
Our next pick in our 10 best EuroParcs resorts is another one outside of the Netherlands. EuroParcs Hoge Kempen is just over the border in Belgium and it's convenient to reach from the UK. From Calais, it's a drive of just over three hours so you could get there from Folkestone in about four hours (excluding the time it takes to check into the Eurotunnel, get lost on the roads, stop for a wee etc.).
EuroParcs Hoge Kempen is a well equipped resort with indoor and outdoor swimming pools, as well as a splash park. It's a leafy park in a nice woodland setting, but it's a long way inland so you won't be visiting the beach.
Visitors can hire bikes, argue their way round a mini golf course, lark around on a playground, kick a ball round a sports court and get a massage. There are also organised kids' activities (i.e. organised activities for kids rather than activities for organised kids...). The website is very keen to let you know that you can't let off fireworks, but I can honestly say that thought hadn't crossed my mind when I was considering a family holiday in Belgium...
When we compared review scores with other EuroParcs resorts we found that it was in the top five from about 50 resorts. The average score works out as 87%, which is nearly 4.5/5.
Price: £937 for a family holiday of two adults and two children, staying for a week in August 2025. That makes it one of the cheaper options in our comparison of EuroParcs prices. If you feel inclined, there are also glamping options.

5. EuroParcs Kohnenhof, Luxembourg - outstanding reviews, forest location
Luxembourg is not the first place I would think to look for holidays in Europe, but EuroParcs Kohnenhof is worth your attention for a couple of reasons.
Firstly, customers rave it about and give it an average score of 90%, including 4.5/5 on Google Reviews. That makes it one of the highest-rated EuroParcs resorts.
Secondly, the location is rather nice, near to a river in a leafy valley on the border between Luxembourg and Germany. There are some lovely walks in the area with waterfalls in the Müllerthal area. It lacks a swimming pool unfortunately, but there are quite a few sporty activities to choose from including table tennis, sports court, bike hire and a gym. I've never been tempted to go to a gym whilst on holiday but don't let that stop you.
From Calais, it will take you about 4 1/2 hours to reach EuroParcs Kohnenhof by car.
Price: £1580 for a week's holiday in August 2025 for two adults and two children, staying in the cheapest accommodation available (excluding tents!).

6. EuroParcs Pressegger See, Austria - outstanding reviews, scenic location, long journey
EuroParcs Pressegger See is quite similar to EuroParcs Hermagor-Nassfeld (see #2). Pressegger See was number one in our comparison of review scores at all the 50ish Euro Parc resorts. It triumphed with a stunning 91% average review score, or about 4.5/5.
The location is about as good as it gets, with the Austrian Alps looming over the resort. Italy isn't too far away either.
The most notable downside is that there isn't an indoor swimming pool. However, there is an outdoor pool and lake. Facilities include a playground, gym and restaurant. In the winter, people use the resort as a base for skiing.
Price: £2033. This means that EuroParcs Pressegger See was one of the more expensive options in our comparison of a week's holiday in August holidays for four people. Although, to be honest, we've seen much higher prices at some holiday resorts in the UK (Center Parcs in the UK is about £400 more for the same dates and you don't get the Alps in the background).

7. EuroParcs De Kraaijenbergse Plassen, Netherlands - good reviews, great value
**Winner: cheapest EuroParcs holiday park in our top 10**
EuroParcs De Kraaijenbergse Plassen is a good all-rounder, which is excellent value.
On customer reviews, it's in the top 10 out of EuroParcs' 50 or so resorts. Customers give it a score of 83% overall, which is very respectable. It also got a mention in EuroParcs own guide to their five most popular parks.
We also like it because it's relatively close to the UK. It takes about four hours to drive from Calais, which puts it in the top five amongst the highly rated resorts we compared.
It drops a few points with us as there's no swimming pool. However, you can do a bit of 'wild swimming' locally if that appeals (Ed: when did swimming become 'wild swimming'?).
Price: £919 for a week's holiday for a family of four in August 2025. That makes it the cheapest EuroParcs resort amongst those we included in our price comparison. We compared prices at the 13 EuroParcs with the best reviews, so we can confidently say that EuroParcs De Kraaijenbergse Plassen performs well on price and reviews.

8. EuroParcs De Zanding, Netherlands - large resort with good activities
EuroParcs De Zanding is a mid-table performer in terms of reviews. It averages 81%, including 4/5 on TripAdvisor. So why does it make our top 10, I hear you ask in a confrontational tone?
Well, we like the waterside setting and big range of things to do. There's stand-up paddleboarding, a 'wellness centre' with a steam room, sauna and sunbeds as well as activities for children, a decent playground, a sports court and bike hire.
Overall, it's one of EuroParcs larger resorts and it's only about an hour away for a day trip to Amsterdam. It's inland though, so you won't be having days out at the beach. It will take you about four hours to drive from Calais or about 1 hour 40 minutes if you go for the seven hour ferry from Harwich to Hook of Holland.
Price: £942 for the cheapest accommodation available for a week in August 2024. The range of accommodation at EuroParcs De Zanding is excellent with big properties that sleep 18 people and quirky lodges for smaller groups.

9. EuroParcs De Wije Werelt, Netherlands - hot tubs, good reviews, outdoor pool
EuroParcs De Wije Werelt made it into our top 10 as it's one of the best EuroParcs with hot tubs.
About a fifth of the company's 50ish holiday parks have hot tubs, but this one came out as the best when we compared review scores. Customers give it an overall rating of 84%, including 4/5 on TripAdvisor.
It also scored quite well on price (although we just looked at the cheapest accommodation and a hot tub will obviously add a lot to the cost).
It's in the Gelderland region, towards the middle of the Netherlands and is in a nice leafy forest with something of a Center Parcs vibe. The travel time from Calais is about four hours.
EuroParcs De Wije Werelt doesn't have an indoor swimming pool but it is generally very good for facilities and activities. There's an outdoor swimming pool, soft play, organised kids' activities, an outdoor pool, bike hire (including 'e-choppers' which are a bit like low power motorbikes) a restaurant and a playground.
Price: £986 for a week's holiday for a family of four in August 2025. That makes it one of cheaper EuroParcs resorts in our comparison.

10. EuroParcs De Koog, Netherlands - great reviews, quirky Island location, quite expensive
EuroParcs De Koog is our final pick in our EuroParcs top 10.
It gets extra marks for quirkiness because it's on an Island called Texel just off the Dutch coastline. You don't need to book the ferry, you just turn up and pay about £20-£35 for a return with a car. The journey takes about 20 minutes, so it doesn't add a lot of time to the travel time. From Calais, it takes about five hours to get to the ferry port and then it's another hour for the ferry and the journey on the Island. Texel is roughly similar in size to the Isle of Wight.
Customer ratings are excellent, with a score of 4.2/5 on Google Reviews or 84% overall, once you add together scores from EuroParcs.com and Booking.com. That score makes it EuroParcs' joint second highest rated resort in the Netherlands according to our calculator.
Facilities at EuroParcs De Koog are - to be honest - very basic compared to some EuroParcs resorts. You can hire a bike, kick a ball around and play table tennis, but this resort is more of a base for exploring the Island.
Price: £1594 for a week's holiday for a family of four. That's the cheapest price we could find in August 2025, which means it is one of the most expensive EuroParcs resorts.
