Which Disneyland Paris Hotel Is Best? (2025 Guide)

You’ll get the most ‘authentic’ Disneyland Paris experience if you stay at one of the official Disneyland Paris hotels.

There are six hotels at Disneyland Paris and two ‘nature resorts’ and they vary significantly in how much they cost, how far they are from the theme parks and what they offer.

But which is the best Disneyland Paris hotel?

***If you want to jump to the summary, we reckon that the best Disneyland Paris hotel is the posh and pricey Disneyland Hotel as it gets great reviews and it's closest to the theme parks. However, it's the most expensive by far. It re-opened in 2024 after a massive refurbishment.***

***The next best alternative is
Disney’s Hotel New York – The Art of Marvel, which gets the best reviews and is still new and shiny. It is particularly good if you like Spiderman, Avengers etc.***

***Our best value pick is Disney’s Davy Crockett Ranch, which is less than half the price of the Disneyland Hotel and offers good value holiday lodges with a decent swimming pool***

There are also 'partner hotels' near Disneyland Paris, but we'll keep things simple and won't look at those in this guide. We've got a separate guide to holiday parks and caravan parks near Disneyland Paris if you're looking for a cheap alternative and don't mind a bit of a drive each day.

If you want to see our working...please read on. We compared the Disneyland Paris hotels by looking at customer reviews, distance from the Disneyland resorts, value for money and facilities.

What are the main differences between the Disneyland Paris Hotels?

Let's start with a summary of what you get at each of the Disneyland Paris Hotel, roughly in order of most expensive to cheapest:
1. Disneyland Hotel is the 'flagship' and most expensive hotel. It's a posh 'Victorian style' hotel with a simple indoor swimming pool/sauna/gym, two restaurants and a bar. It's got the classic style rooms you'd get in a decent country hotel in the UK. There are things like meet and greets with Disney characters, as well as upgrades like princess makeovers, which you pay extra for. Some of these are exclusively available at the Disneyland Hotel.

The hotel closed for nearly four years whilst it underwent a massive upgrade and renovation so it is now looking pretty impressive. It re-opened in January 2024. See our guide to room grades at the Disneyland Hotel.

2. Disney’s Hotel New York – The Art of Marvel is a city centre style hotel with classy modern rooms (a bit like Hilton or Marriott rooms), three restaurants and two bars. It has a simple indoor swimming pool plus indoor and outdoor gyms. It's got original superhero artwork all over the hotel and some Marvel themed things to do, including meet-and-greets. The hotel opened in 2021, so it is still looking very new and smart.

3. Disney’s Newport Bay Club is a traditional style hotel in a waterside setting with nautical themed rooms. There's a buffet, a restaurant and a bar. It's got indoor and outdoor swimming pools and a gym. There are some Disney character meet and greets. This is one of the original hotels that opened in 1992, when the resort was called Euro Disney. It was then given a big renovation in 2014.

4. Disney’s Hotel Cheyenne is a cowboy themed frontier town with lots of Woody-from-Toy-Story decor. The rooms are spread out over a wild-west town setting rather than being in one big hotel building. It's got a buffet, a bar and a coffee shop but it doesn't have a swimming pool. You can do meet and greet with Disney characters as well as pony rides if you pay a bit extra.

5. Disney’s Sequoia Lodge is a budget hotel surrounded by woods, which I would describe as having a 'guest house' style décor. It's got indoor and outdoor swimming pools, a buffet and a bar. Some of the rooms are themed around Bambi.

6. Disney’s Hotel Santa Fe is a budget hotel themed around the New Mexico city of Santa Fe (Route 66, Motels, that sort of thing). It doesn't have a swimming pool but it has a buffet, bar and coffee shop. It's mostly themed around the film Cars.

There are also two off-site 'nature resorts' that offer official Disneyland Paris accommodation:
1. Disney’s Davy Crockett Ranch is a bit like the lodge holiday parks you get in the UK. You rent a woodland cabin, which has a small kitchen and can use the buffet, bar, a good-sized themed swimming pool with flume, minigolf, playgrounds and tennis courts. You need a car as it's a drive and walk to the Disneyland theme parks (total of about 20-25 minutes).

2. Les Villages Nature Paris is a joint venture with Center Parcs that opened in 2017. The idea is that you spend a few days using the Center Parcs facilities (large waterpark, play areas, sports, spa, obstacle courses etc) and also spend a few days at the Disneyland Paris theme parks. You rent an apartment with a kitchen and need a car for the short drive to the Disneyland theme parks.

Which Disneyland Paris hotel gets the best reviews?

To work out which Disneyland Paris hotel or resort gets the best reviews we worked out an average review scores after looking at scores on TripAdvisor, Google reviews, Booking.com and Expedia.

We've ranked them from highest to lowest overall score, as of October 2024. We calculated an overall percentage:
  1. Disney’s Hotel New York – The Art of Marvel - 89%
  2. Disneyland Hotel - 86%
  3. Disney’s Davy Crockett Ranch - 84%
  4. Disney’s Hotel Cheyenne - 81%
  5. Disney’s Hotel Santa Fe - 81%
  6. Disney’s Sequoia Lodge - 81%
  7. Disney’s Newport Bay Club - 80%
  8. Les Villages Nature Paris - 71%

You can read more detailed notes about these scores at the bottom of the page (Ed: I wouldn't bother, it's quite dull).

For those who get a headache from looking at numbers, I'll give a summary of what the customer reviews say:
  • The difference between the highest and second lowest score is less than 10% (excluding Les Villages Nature Paris). That's not exactly massive. In my view, this shows there is some consistency of quality at the different hotels and resorts using the Disney name.
  • Disney’s Hotel New York – The Art of Marvel gets the best customer reviews along with Disneyland Hotel. They aren't miles ahead, but enough to put them into the lead in our search for the best hotel at Disneyland Paris. It's important to note that most of the reviews for the Disneyland Hotel are from before the hotel's huge renovation.
  • Disney’s Davy Crockett Ranch also scores very well. It isn't a hotel but it's an official resort, which is a short drive from Disneyland Paris.
  • There is practically no difference between the review scores at four of the hotels - Disney’s Newport Bay Club, Disney’s Sequoia Lodge, Disney’s Hotel Santa Fe and Disney’s Hotel Cheyenne.
  • Les Villages Nature Paris (a Center Parcs just outside Disneyland Paris) scores significantly below the rest on customer reviews. Some customers raise issues with cleanliness and a lack of air conditioning, but many people give positive reviews as well.

Which Disneyland Hotel is closest to the attractions?

Disneyland Paris is actually two adjacent theme parks - one called Disneyland Park and one called Walt Disney Studios Park. Most people visit both theme parks over a few days. The official website recommends three days but you can easily spend longer than that if you're staying at a hotel with a pool and don't want exhausting days of non-stop walking.

We looked at the travel time from the entrance to Disneyland Park from the official hotels and resorts. We used Google maps to work it out, you'll find slightly different times on the official website. There are also shuttle options (some free, some cost extra) but I didn't want to make it too complicated.

From closest to furthest:

  1. Disneyland Hotel - 1 minute walk from the Disneyland Park entrance
  2. Disney’s Hotel New York – The Art of Marvel - 11 minute walk
  3. Disney’s Sequoia Lodge - 13 minute walk
  4. Disney’s Newport Bay Club - 14 minute walk
  5. Disney’s Hotel Cheyenne - 17 minute walk
  6. Disney’s Hotel Santa Fe -  20 minute walk
  7. Les Villages Nature Paris - 25 minutes (10 minute drive plus 10-15 minute walk depending on where you are in the car park. Obviously the drive could be longer with traffic)
  8. Disney’s Davy Crockett Ranch - 25 minutes (10 minute drive plus 10-15 minute walk depending on where you are in the car park)

So, a clear victory for the Disneyland Hotel, which is the closest and simplest to reach. Personally, I like the idea of walking to the theme parks rather than getting in the car, but there are advantages to the ones where you drive (i.e. they're usually cheaper!).

If you are staying at any of the 'official' resorts or hotels above, then you get free parking for Disneyland Paris.

One important thing to mention is that there is not a shuttle bus from Disney's Davy Crockett Ranch to the theme parks. This means that you either need to bring your own car or get the Eurostar and then organise taxis. All of the other hotels offer a free  shuttle service. Les Villages Nature Paris has a shuttle service that costs about £2 per person (see more on this in the section about visiting from the UK).

Which Disneyland Paris Hotel is cheapest?

So, we've established that Disneyland Hotel and Disney's Hotel New York - The Art of Marvel get the best reviews. They're also the nearest to the theme park entrances. But how do they compare on price?

For a price comparison, we look for a holiday for a family of four staying for four nights with five days entry to the theme parks. The exception is Les Villages Nature Paris which is the Center Parcs nearby. That option comes with two days at the theme park. This is because they assume you'll want a few days splashing around in the Center Parcs swimming pool.

We looked for the cheapest accommodation available, without optional upgrades or meals. We looked at three different dates.

Four nights at Easter 2025, during the UK school holidays. From cheapest to most expensive:
  1. Les Villages Nature Paris - £1596*
  2. Disney’s Davy Crockett Ranch - £1706
  3. Disney’s Hotel Santa Fe - £1716
  4. Disney’s Sequoia Lodge - £1778
  5. Disney’s Hotel Cheyenne - £1778
  6. Disney’s Newport Bay Club - £2293
  7. Disney’s Hotel New York – The Art of Marvel - £2786
  8. Disneyland Hotel - £4355

Four nights at the end of July 2025, during the UK school holidays. From cheapest to most expensive:
  1. Les Villages Nature Paris - £1324*
  2. Disney’s Davy Crockett Ranch - £1542
  3. Disney’s Hotel Santa Fe - £1551
  4. Disney’s Hotel Cheyenne - £1778
  5. Disney’s Sequoia Lodge - £1778
  6. Disney’s Newport Bay Club - £1994
  7. Disney’s Hotel New York – The Art of Marvel - £2521
  8. Disneyland Hotel - £3939

Four nights in mid-September 2025, outside the UK school holidays. From cheapest to most expensive:
  1. Disney’s Davy Crockett Ranch - £1186
  2. Disney’s Hotel Santa Fe - £1200
  3. Les Villages Nature Paris - £1282*
  4. Disney’s Hotel Cheyenne - £1343
  5. Disney’s Sequoia Lodge - £1343
  6. Disney’s Newport Bay Club - £1517
  7. Disney’s Hotel New York – The Art of Marvel - £1886
  8. Disneyland Hotel - £2991

Four nights in late-December 2025, during UK school holidays (including New Year's Eve). From cheapest to most expensive:
  1. Les Villages Nature Paris - £1814*
  2. Disney’s Davy Crockett Ranch - £1946
  3. Disney’s Hotel Santa Fe - £1960
  4. Disney’s Sequoia Lodge - £2238
  5. Disney’s Hotel Cheyenne - £2238
  6. Disney’s Newport Bay Club - £2529
  7. Disney’s Hotel New York – The Art of Marvel - £3224
  8. Disneyland Hotel - £5048

So, what can we conclude from all these prices?
  • The two off-site resorts  - Les Village Natura Paris and Davy Crockett Range - are usually cheap options. However, Disney’s Davy Crockett Ranch is much cheaper if you plan to spend several days at Disneyland Paris and Walt Disney Studios Park, as it includes park entry for five days. You only get two days entry included with Les Villages Nature Paris.
  • Disneyland Hotel is the most expensive hotel at Disneyland Paris by some distance. Prices are more than double the price of the cheapest onsite hotel.
  • Disney’s Hotel Santa Fe is usually the cheapest onsite hotel at Disneyland Paris.

Food is not included in these prices. We've written a section about dining plans further down this guide.

Not sure when to visit Disneyland Paris? See our month-by-month guide, which covers price, weather and special events.

*An important note...as mentioned earlier the Les Villages Nature Paris price only includes two days at the Disneyland Paris theme parks, whereas the others include five days at the parks. This is because Les Villages Nature Paris is a Disney/Center Parcs joint thing so they assume you'll want a few days at Center Parcs and a few days at Disneyland Paris. If you wanted to spend your whole five days at Disneyland Paris you would need to add on about £900-£1050 extra for a family of four. That bumps the price up considerably and makes Les Villages Nature Paris the second or third most expensive option for most dates.

Money saving tip: buy these Mickey Mouse ears from Amazon (£3ish) rather than from Disneyland Paris (£20+).

How much do dining plans at the Disneyland Paris hotels cost?

The holiday prices above don't include meals and the amount you pay depends on which hotel you choose and how many meals you want per day. You can choose a dining plan at all of the hotels, apart from Les Villages Nature Paris. However, there are lots of restaurants at both the Center Parcs resort and within the theme parks so you can just pay-as-you-go.

You aren't obliged to pay for any meals, but you only get cooking facilities at Disney’s Davy Crockett Ranch and Les Villages Nature Paris. You are allowed to bring your own food into the Disneyland Paris theme parks. However, you can't bring "meals that require specific equipment (like a cool box, table, or bulky containers)".

Breakfast is served in the hotel that you are staying in and you can then choose where you eat lunch and dinner. There are restaurants within the two Disneyland Paris theme parks where you can dine as part of your meal plans. That's a big bonus as it means you don't have to leave the park to eat.

We looked for the price of adding meals at Easter 2025 for a family of four, staying for four nights.

We looked at the price for breakfast, half board or full board. Half board means that you get breakfast and one other meal of your choice. Full board means that you get three meals a day.

  1. Disney’s Davy Crockett Ranch - £201 (just breakfast), £645 (breakfast + lunch or dinner), £860 (breakfast + lunch + dinner)
  2. Disney’s Hotel Santa Fe - £286 (just breakfast), £645 (breakfast + lunch or dinner), £860 (breakfast + lunch + dinner)
  3. Disney’s Hotel Cheyenne - £322 (just breakfast), £753 (breakfast + lunch or dinner), £1255 (breakfast + lunch + dinner)
  4. Disney’s Sequoia Lodge - £387 (just breakfast), £753 (breakfast + lunch or dinner), £1255 (breakfast + lunch + dinner)
  5. Disney’s Newport Bay Club - £387 (just breakfast), £753 (breakfast + lunch or dinner), £1255 (breakfast + lunch + dinner)
  6. Disney’s Hotel New York – The Art of Marvel - £416 (just breakfast), £753 (breakfast + lunch or dinner), £1255 (breakfast + lunch + dinner)
  7. Disneyland Hotel - £581 (just breakfast), £1506 (breakfast + lunch or dinner), £2726 (breakfast + lunch + dinner)

As you can see, there's quite a range of prices for dining plans on the example above. The full board option at the Disneyland Hotel is about three times the price of the cheapest dining plan.

Which is the easiest Disneyland Paris hotel to reach from the UK?

One of the key differences between the six Disneyland Paris hotels and the two official off-site nature resorts is whether or not you need a car:

  • If you want to arrive by train, it will take you about 2 hour 45 minutes from London St Pancras to Gare de Marne la Vallée Chessy. The railway station is practically next door to the Disneyland Hotel so the walking times from the railway stations to the hotels is pretty much the same as the distances from the hotels to the theme parks (see further up the page). You can pay extra so that you can go straight to Disneyland Park rather than checking in first. The direct train to Disneyland has now ended, but you can still get there via Paris.

  • If you want to stay at Disney’s Davy Crockett Ranch then you need a car. It takes about 35 minutes to travel from Folkestone to Calais on the Eurotunnel and then it's a three-hour drive from Calais to Disneyland Paris. From Central London it's about 5 1/2 hours to Disneyland Paris.

  • Most people bring a car to Les Villages Nature Paris, as it is off-site. However, there is a shuttle bus that connects the resort with the theme parks and the railway station near Disneyland Paris. The shuttle bus costs about £2 per person. You can see timetables and routes on the bus company's website by searching for service number 2231.

We did a very rough price comparison and found that a family of four would pay from £460 on the Eurostar for a return to Disneyland Paris in November 2024. Taking the car on the Eurotunnel/LeShuttle for the same dates cost from £228 return, but you'd obviously have to allow for petrol costs. It's about 600 miles as a round trip, so with my car I reckon it would cost me about £100 in petrol.

So, based on my finger-in-the-air calculation, taking the car would save a family of four about £150 compared to Eurostar. Of course, there are many more factors such as wear and tear on your car, the stress of driving on the 'wrong' side of the road, toll roads in France, European breakdown cover, foreign cover on your car insurance and those silly stickers you have to put over your headlights to satisfy Le Police. Plus, there's the feeling that you are choking the planet with your huge journeys in your gas guzzling SUV. Plus of course, prices vary depending on the time of year.

In summary, there's not much in it on price.

Conclusion - which is the best Disneyland Paris hotel?

If money was no object I'd go for the Disneyland Hotel. It gets the second-best reviews, it's right next door to the theme parks and it's very close to the railway station if you decide to get the train. It's particularly good for little princesses, as you can book in for exclusive Disney things that you can't do at the other hotels. There's also the rather appealing factor that it has recently undergone a four-year renovation.

However, it is very expensive compared to the other Disneyland Paris hotels - particularly if you go for the full-board dining package. Also, it's a posh hotel so may not be ideal if you want space for your noisy children to run around.

Disney’s Newport Bay Club is a similarly grown-up hotel, but it costs a lot less and isn't too far behind on reviews so is a good compromise.

Perhaps you want to stay within walking distance of the Disneyland Paris theme parks but don't want to pay the high prices for the Disneyland Hotel? I would go for Disney’s Hotel New York – The Art of Marvel if your family love superhero movies or Disney’s Hotel Cheyenne if your family love cowboys/Woody from Toy Story. Disney's Hotel New York - The Art of Marvel is the second most expensive but it's also the clear winner on customer reviews.

For the best value, I would pick Disney’s Davy Crockett Ranch. It gets the third best reviews, but it was always one of the cheapest in our price comparison. The range of onsite facilities is much better than at the six hotels and you get more spacious accommodation for your money. The big downside is that you have to drive to the theme parks each day. However, it's only a short drive followed by a short walk (20-25 minutes in total, assuming traffic is OK). The cost of parking is included in your stay.

Disney's Davy Crockett Ranch is really good value at certain times of year, once you factor in the cost of getting into the park each day. For example, you'd pay £1081 for a four-day pass for a family of four to visit Disneyland Paris without accommodation in early March 2025. Adding on accommodation in March 2025 only adds about £600 to the total cost (about £120 per night). These are just rough figures but you get the idea.

If you like Center Parcs and just want a couple of days at the Disneyland Paris theme parks, then Les Villages Nature Paris is the best option. Reviews aren't quite as good as the others, but it's a convenient crossover holiday.

Top Tip: We have found it is often cheaper to book Les Villages Nature Paris via the French version of the Center Parcs website and then buy your Disneyland Paris tickets separately.
