5 Best Eurocamp Waterpark Resorts and Swimming pools in Europe 2025
Eurocamp has some outstanding waterparks at its European resorts in France, Italy, Spain and the Netherlands. With a bit of careful planning you can spend several days larking around in your trunks in the sunshine.
We've picked out the five that we think are Eurocamp's five best water parks and pools in Europe. We've leant towards those that are on the large side, and so offer a big range of flumes, swimming pools and other entertainment. They're also all near to a beach.
France and the Netherlands will offer you a shorter (and probably less stressful) journey, with the option of either taking the car or flying. Italy and Spain should give you more appealing weather for a week outdoors, but you'll have to endure airports and flights with children - which is not my favourite activity.
Anyway, here's Eurocamp's top five holiday parks with waterparks:

1. Eurocamp Duinrell, Netherlands - 20+ slides, easy to reach from the UK, theme park attached
Duinrell is what my children would call 'epic'.
I refuse to use such modern language, but can certainly waffle on about it with enthusiasm.
Eurocamp Duinrell is an unusual holiday park, because it is part of the Duinrell theme park. Entry to the theme park is included in the cost of your Eurocamp holiday, whilst the waterpark costs about £5 - £10 extra per person, per day.
In total, Duinrell has more than 20 flumes and waterslides. The theme park is on a similar size to something like Gulliver's Kingdom in the UK and has about 40 rides.
Customers give Duinrell an average score of 82%, once we add together the TripAdvisor and Google Review scores. That's the lowest of the five holiday parks with waterparks that we are going to feature in this guide - but it's still a decent score.
The accommodation range is decent and is similar to the caravans that you get at Haven and Parkdean Resorts in the UK.
A definite plus point is that you can get to Duinrell relatively easily with your own car. That's good news for parents - like me - who have a child who isn't so keen on flying. From South East England, I would get the 35 minute Eurotunnel/Le Shuttle from Folkestone and then drive for about four or five hours from Calais. There's also a ferry from Harwich in Essex to the Hook of Holland. It takes about six hours and then you drive for 45 minutes. If you prefer flying, you can get a direct flight to Rotterdam in about an hour and then drive for 35 minutes.
So, what's the downside? The main issue is that the Netherlands has a similar climate to the UK - so it's a bit pot luck whether you'll have the right weather for an outdoor waterpark. The solution is to do the theme park on the chilly days and the waterpark on the hot days.
Eurocamp Duinrell is a dog-friendly holiday park, for an extra cost. There are some extra hoops to jump through if you're taking a dog to Europe.

2. Eurocamp Pra delle Torri, Italy - 6 flumes and slides, beachside location, outstanding reviews
Eurocamp Pra Delle Torri is a longer journey than Duinrell, but you're likely to be rewarded with better weather. You can expect lots of days with temperatures in the high 20s during the summer at Pra Delle Torri.
It's a jumbo sized holiday resort with about 1500 holiday homes, which puts it on a par with the UK's largest Haven holiday parks.
There are six waterslides, as well as several linked swimming pools. Besides the pools, there's a golf course, small theme park rides and a sandy beach on the doorstep. You can choose from four restaurants and there are several sports to attempt with gusto before pulling a muscle. Venice is about an hour away by car, so you might be able to manage a day trip.
The downside is that it's relatively expensive for a European holiday park and it's a longer journey than some of Eurocamp's holiday parks. Flights from the UK to Venice Marco Polo Airport take about 2 hours 20 minutes and then it's a drive of 45 minutes to the resort.
Customers give Pra Delle Torri an average score of 91%, which is truly exceptional for a large water park in Europe. We calculcated that based on its scores of 4.6/5 on Google Reviews and 4.5/5 on TripAdvisor.
Price: £2190 for a week's holiday in early August for a family of four. We didn't include the cost of flights or transfers. Prices were more like £1500 towards the end of August.

3. Eurocamp Sanguli, Spain - Safari themed waterpark, warmer weather, 10 minutes to the beach
Sanguli is an impressive Spanish resort that also gets a mention in our guide to Spain's 10 best holiday parks.
It doesn't have many huge flumes and slides as some resorts, but it has several smaller ones as well as lots of animal-themed splash pools, a waterfall and a poolside bar. I'd say it is slightly better for younger children than for teenagers.
Once you've dried off, you can eat in the restaurant, play sports including football and basketball or sign up for the kids' club. Customer review scores are currently at 85%, putting it in the middle of the scores for Eurocamp Pra Delle Torri and Eurocamp Duinrell.
The climate at Eurocamp Sanguli is quite similar to Eurocamp Pra Delle Torri. It's on the Costa Dorada, so you get an average of about 24-25 Celsius in July, August and September. You can walk to the beach in about 10 minutes from Sanguli resort.
The best way of getting to Sanguli resort from the UK is a two hour flight to Reus and then a 20 minute transfer to the resort.
Price: £2502 for a week's holiday in August 2025 for four people. The accommodation at Sanguli resort is mostly safari-themed 'Masai lodges', which I would say are a couple of steps up from Eurocamp's standard holiday homes.

4. Eurocamp Le Palace, France - indoor and outdoor pools
**Winner: Eurocamp's best value waterpark/swimming pool**
Le Palace stands out amongst Eurocamp's pools it's particularly good value and has an entertaining mix of waterpark features. Highlights include a counter-current river that you swim against, about a dozen water slides (including some small ones for younger children) and a couple of splash parks. There's also an indoor pool, which is a relief if the weather isn't as good as the brochure.
The resort is not quite on the vast scale as others on this list. There are about 600 holiday homes rather than the 1500 that you get at Eurocamp Pra Delle Torri and Eurocamp Duinrell. That may well appeal to you if you want somewhere that doesn't feel quite so busy.
Le Palace also has a large restaurant, sports courts and kids' clubs. The beach is about five minutes' walk away.
The note of caution is that it's on France's West Coast, so summer average temperatures are around 21 Celsius rather than the mid to high 20s that you are more likely to get in Italy or Spain. I'll happily prance around in my swimming trunks in 20 Celsius, but you may prefer hotter weather.
Driving to Le Palace from the UK is an option. It'll take you about 6-8 hours depending on whether you get a ferry to Brittany or the Eurotunnel/Le Shuttle to Calais. Flying takes about 90 minutes, plus a similar amount of time driving once you arrive at Bordeaux Airport.

Eurocamp's Union Lido Resort is an exceptionally large holiday park with an exceptionally good water park to match.
It's about twice the size of the UK's largest holiday parks and more than a dozen waterslides, as well as several pools. The beach is next door to the resort and it's about an hour from Venice if you fancy a day out.
The weather is generally pleasantly warm in summer, with an average of about 23 Celsius. Customer reviews are even hotter than the weather, with an average score of 91% (4.6/5 on Google Reviews plus 4.5/5 on TripAdvisor).
So, what's the downside? Union Lido Resort is certainly one of Eurocamp's more expensive holiday parks. There's another resort nearby called Marina di Venezia that is similarly vast and popular - but it's also a similar price.

How do our Eurocamp's best waterparks and swimming pools compare on price?
Our price comparisons are a bit flawed (Ed: er, pardon?) since we're only comparing one set of dates and different grades of accommodation. However, it does give us a general idea of which Eurocamp waterparks are cheaper than others. We picked out the cheapest grade of accommodation available for week in early August 2025. We searched in January 2025.
Prices tend to drop off significantly in the last week of the UK's summer holidays, so you might like to hold off for a bargain.
