10 Cheap Caravan Holiday Parks - 2025
We've picked one of the cheapest caravan holiday parks from each of our guides to the best caravan parks in the UK.
Some of the cheap caravan parks have basic facilities, whilst others have indoor swimming pools and family entertainment. We looked at the August 2025 price and found a range from about £500 to £1100 for a family of four staying for a week. Obviously, you can get a cheaper caravan holiday in the middle of January, but who wants that? I mean, really?
We've included caravan holiday parks in 10 of the most popular UK holiday resorts including Dorset, Norfolk, Skegness in Lincolnshire, The Lake District and Cumbria, Isle of Wight, Cornwall, Devon, Blackpool in Lancashire, Yorkshire and Wales.

1. Tarka Holiday Park, Devon (simple site with great reviews)
If you want a busy holiday park with flumes and bingo nights...then Tarka Holiday Park in Devon isn't for you.
The list of onsite facilities is very small, so you won't be spending every waking minute at the resort. There isn't a restaurant, swimming pool or an onsite entertainer dressed as a rabbit.
So why have we included it in our guide to the best cheap holiday parks in the UK?
Well, Tarka Holiday Park gets remarkable reviews of 5/5 from hundreds of reviews on TripAdvisor. Guests love the quiet location in a pretty area and overall cleanliness of the site.
You can get to Barnstable in about five minutes or travel to popular beaches like Woolacombe Beach, Croyde Beach and Saunton Sands in about 10-20 minutes.
It's also terrific value, with prices which are half that of some of the caravan sites featured in our guide to Devon's holiday parks.
Price: £899 for a Gold Plus caravan for a family of four people in August 2025. That caravan sleeps six people and is a billy bargain, as Devon holiday parks tend to be more expensive than parks in Northern England and Scotland. To get the best price it is sometimes necessary to arrive on a Monday rather than a weekend.

2. Haven Greenacres Holiday Park, Wales (mountain and beach nearby, swimming pool)
Haven Greenacres Holiday Park is neatly located with a sandy beach on one side and Snowdonia's mountains on the other. Several of the caravans have terrific sea views looking over the bay.
It's part a chain of about 40 holiday parks run by Haven and gets reviews of 4/5 from customers.
The park lots to do onsite including an indoor swimming pool, an outdoor splash zone, sports court, adventure playground, several pay-as-you-go activities and a live entertainment venue. There's also a restaurant and a couple of takeaways.
Pets are allowed in some, but not all of the accommodation. There are a couple of other Haven caravan parks in our top 10 guide to Wales holiday parks, which are about £100-£200 more expensive for peak weeks, including Hafan y Môr Holiday Park and Lydstep Beach Holiday Park. However, we think Greenacres offers the best value.
Price: £835 for a 'Saver' caravan for one week in early August 2025 for a family of four.
Haven holiday parks now come with the choice of either a 'Haven Hideaway' holiday or a standard 'Haven' holiday. Most people will want a standard Haven holiday, which allows you to use the swimming pool and other facilities. A Haven Hideaway holiday just includes the caravan and access to the restaurants onsite. The price quoted is for the standard Haven holiday with swimming pool access included. See the official comparison here.

3. Haven Marton Mere Holiday Park, Blackpool (swimming pool, play areas)
**Haven's 2025 Offers: Easter from £65 + Summer from £215**
Marton Mere is one of Haven's cheaper caravan parks in our price comparisons. It's also one of the cheaper options in popular Blackpool.
Onsite there is loads to do, including an indoor swimming pool, sports courts, play areas and places to eat. There are also some extra activities you can pay extra for.
It will take you about quarter of an hour to drive to the seafront and the famous Blackpool Tower.
See our 5 best holiday parks in Blackpool guide for more options.
Price: £979 for two adults and two children saying in a Haven Saver caravan for a week in early August 2025. That price is for a standard Haven holiday - it is cheaper if you want a Haven Hideaway holiday, which just includes accommodation.
Saver caravans are the cheapest option at Haven caravan parks. More expensive caravans are wider and have central heating. Other upgrades will get you things such as a dishwasher and towels provided. See our guide to Haven caravan grades or Haven's official guide.

4. Thorness Bay Holiday Park, Isle of Wight (peaceful beachside location, swimming pool)
Thorness Bay Holiday Park is consistently one of the cheapest resorts on the Isle of Wight. It is one of four on the Island owned by Parkdean Resorts, but tends to be cheaper than Nodes Point, Landguard and Lower Hyde.
The park has plenty to do onsite. There's an indoor swimming pool with a flume, an adventure playground, kids' clubs, a sports court, a bar and restaurant and evening entertainment.
Thorness Bay Holiday Park sits alongside a scrubby beach which is popular with anglers. For a traditional seaside resort you'll need to drive for about half an hour to Sandown or Shanklin. The Isle of Wight is pretty small, so anywhere is achievable as a day trip, such as yachty Cowes, Queen Victoria's Osborne House or The Needles and Alum Bay.
You'll need to budget for a return ferry. The good news is that you get a whopping great discount on the Isle of Wight ferry by booking it via Parkdean Resorts. Prices vary throughout the year, but we've found that you'll usually pay £70 - £140 for a return ferry with Parkdean's discount. Without the discount, you could pay £300+ at peak times for the same crossing.
Reviews for Thorness Bay range from 3.5/5 to 4/5 depending on which review site you look at. You can choose from chalets, caravans and glamping.
Price: £879 for a family staying in a Regatta Chalet for a week in August 2025.

5. Trelawne Manor Holiday Park, Cornwall (two swimming pools, 10 minutes to the beach)
**Trelawne Manor Offers: save up to 30% on last minute deals + summer holidays from £295**
We've generally found Cornwall's holiday parks to be more expensive than those in the North of England and Scotland but Trelawne Manor Holiday Park bucks the trend. It's run by John Fowler Holidays and its caravans are amongst the cheapest we've found in Cornwall.
Trelawne Manor Holiday Park gets positive reviews of 4/5 on TripAdvisor or 4.3/5 on Google Review and it's well kitted out with things to do. It's got an outdoor swimming pool with a flume for the warmer months. There's also an indoor swimming pool which is a good size and is used for things like kayaking and those giant hamster balls.
For younger visitors, there's a kids' club whilst grown-ups can watch cabaret in the evenings. You can dine out at the onsite restaurant or use the takeaway if you prefer. Other entertainment includes giant chess, pottery painting, tennis, mini golf, a woodland walk, table tennis and pool.
Unfortunately, you can't walk to the beach, but it should only take you about 10 minutes in the car to get to places like Polperro Beach. You can also visit the Eden Project, as it's only half an hour away.
And yes, there really is a manor house within the grounds.
Price: £1125 for a Bronze apartment for a family of four for a week in August 2025. It's a two-bedroom chalet and there are upgrade options if you want to spend a bit more.

6. Lakeland Leisure Park, Cumbria/Lake District (swimming pools, drive to the Lakes)
One of the cheapest Lake District/Cumbria holiday park in our guide to the area's 10 best caravan parks is Lakeland Leisure Park.
It'll take you about 15 minutes to get to the edge of the Lakes and 45 minutes to get to Windermere on a busy day, but it makes a cheap base for exploring. It's next to a beach which is OK for walking, but not the sort of place you will be digging sandcastles.
If you want somewhere actually within the Lake District National Park then Avon Wood Holiday Park was the cheapest option we found.
Lakeland Leisure Park meanwhile has plenty to keep you occupied onsite, some of which is included in the price. There are indoor and outdoor swimming pools, an activity lake with kayaking and paddleboards, 'footgolf', kids' clubs, minigolf, archery and bushcraft.
The resort is owned by Haven. Reviews average 4/5 on TripAdvisor.
Price: £835 for four people staying for a week in a 'Saver' caravan in early August 2025. That's the cheapest grade of caravan offered at Lakeland Leisure Park.

7. Swanage Bay View, Dorset (quiet site with sea views and swimming pool)
Dorset's a fairly pricey county when it comes to holiday parks. However, Swanage Bay View is one of the best value options you'll find.
It is run by a company called Away Resorts, which owns about 20 resorts around the UK.
Swanage Bay View has a good-sized indoor swimming pool. Don't expect flumes and slides though, it's just a simple pool. There's also a modern bar and a gym.
It's about one mile to the beach at Swanage, so you can walk it in about 20 minutes if you aren't slowed down by complaining children.
The accommodation is caravans. They don't currently offer hot tubs. These are available at a park next door called Swanage Coastal Park, but that was about £400 more expensive in our Dorset price comparison.
Customers give Swanage Bay View a score of 3.5/5 on TripAdvisor or 4.5/5 on Google Reviews. I'm not really sure why there's such a gulf between those two scores, but the average is 80%.
Price: £712 for a family of four to hire a Comfort Caravan for a week in August 2025. That's a very good price for Dorset.

8. Norfolk Broads Country Park, Norfolk (quiet inland park)
Norfolk's roads can be pretty slow, but your best chance of getting a feel for the whole county is to stay somewhere around the middle.
Norfolk Broads Country Park will give you a cheap base, not far from Norwich. You'll be able to get to Cromer or Great Yarmouth in about 45 minutes.
Don't come here expecting non-stop family entertainment and evening singalongs. There aren't facilities onsite, but one to consider if you can't think of anything worse than a week playing bingo.
Reviews are about 4/5.

9. Thornwick Bay Holiday Park (modern site, beachside, swimming pool)
There are four Haven holiday parks in Yorkshire but Thornwick Bay is often the cheapest. This may come as a surprise as it only opened about eight years ago and it gets very good reviews. Reviewers on TripAdvisor give Thornwick Bay Holiday Park 4/5 whilst it scores 4.5/5 on Google reviews.
You'll find it on the Flamborough Headland, about 10 minutes' walk from the nearest beach. The local beach is gorgeous but it's rocky and rustic rather than somewhere to build a sandcastle. For classic seaside days out you may prefer to travel to Filey or Bridlington which are about 15-20 minutes away in the car.
The indoor swimming pool at Thornwick Bay is good fun with a three lane waterslide and a paddling area for smaller children. There are kids' clubs, a restaurant and a good-sized entertainment venue
You can also hire bikes, take an archery lesson, try out paddleboarding, tackle the climbing wall, do some pottery painting, ride Segways or lose some money in the amusement arcade.
Price comparison: £685 for a family holiday in a Saver caravan in August 2025. If you just want a caravan without the facilities you can save yourself a bit of money by choosing the Haven Hideaway option.

10. The Chase Caravan Park, Skegness (very cheap, simple park)
You won't find a family caravan park much cheaper than The Chase Caravan Park in Ingoldmells. OK, so there's not much to do onsite, but it's a bargain priced base for a holiday in the Skegness area.
It'll take you about 10 minutes to walk to the beach at Ingoldmells or it's a short drive to Skegness itself. You can also walk to Fantasy Island, which I'm afraid isn't as exciting as it sounds...
Reviews are reasonable, averaging around 3.5 or 4 out of 5. We found that most of the holiday parks in Skegness are at the cheaper end of the UK holiday park market.
Other good value ones in our Skegness holiday park guide include Haven's Skegness Holiday Park (previously known as Richmond Holiday Centre) and Parkdean Resorts' Southview Leisure Park.
Price: £539 for a week for a family of four staying in a four berth caravan for a week in August 2025.
